Jason and Fernando checked into the Dover Hall Estate Monday afternoon to the Queen Elizabeth suite. They visited the adventurous Billiard Room and stately Library while enjoying a glass of wine before dinner. They headed off to the wine cellar to enjoy an amazing custom 5-course private dinner prepared by Chef Lee Hendrickson. Each plate was accompanied by a wine pairing.
The menu included:
First Course
Beef Tartare with capers, Smoked Tomato Aioli and Potato Crisps
Second Course
Mushroom Truffle Risotto with Oyster Mushrooms and Parmesan Reggiano
Third Course
Sea Bass with Charred Cauliflower and Leeks, Romesco
Fourth Course
Rosemary Lamb Saltimboca with Shaved Brussel Salad, Compressed Apple, Cranberry Vinaigrette
Fifth Course
Zeppoli with Dark Chocolate and Lavendar Sugar

Although we decided to celebrate our love only in the company of one another, please know that you are in our thoughts and forever in our hearts.
Fernando and Jason used the beautiful backdrop of the Dover Hall Estate Ballroom staircase for their ceremony. Casey Dokoupil officiated the ceremony while Jennifer Johnson played beautiful background music on the violin. The newly wed couple enjoyed a personal and intimate first dance in the ballroom followed by cutting the wedding cake and a champagne toast in the Parlor Room.

Wedding Night

After the beautiful wedding ceremony, Jason and Fernando checked into the historic Jefferson Hotel, which was decorated for Christmas. The staff was so accomodating and welcoming.
They stayed in a beautiful suite overlooking the city and the James River and enjoyed massages at the spa and socially distanced cocktails in the festive holiday decorated lobby.
They ended the evening with an amazing dinner at Lemaire followed by wedding cake for dessert. They will always remember celebrating that special day at The Jefferson Hotel.
